Suffered From Heart Attack And Stroke. Lost Ability To Read Some Vision Lost Arm Weak. Any Suggestion

Hi, a male friend of mine had recently suffered a heart attack and stroke. He has loss his ability to read, weakness in one arm and some vision loss. He has vision but requires assistance with his mobility. He was told that he cannot drive a car. I am very concerned and worried and wonder if he will ever regain his vision 100 % so that he can drive again. Also, will he ever learn to read again? Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hello,

Stroke(Brain infarct) caused to some extent permanent damage to the brain. So in this situation our aim is to prevent further strokes through medicines and by controlling the blood pressure.

There may not be complete regain of lost function like vision by we can improve this present function through a proper rehabilitation programme.
