Suffer From Mouth Sores. Acyclovir Given For Herpes Infection. Is It STD?
hi a while back my mouth broke out into sores and my uncle suggested gargling salt water. which just made it worse. I went to the doctor and he said it was an infection in my mouth and gave me some meds called Acyclovir 400mg. he also said something about herpes virus. my questions is he talking about herpes like the std?

Doctor gave antiherpetic drug and this is commonly used for such infections.
It can be aquired sexually or by other intime contact such as kissing,sneezing coughing etc. Whatever it is it is treated on the same way but herpes can always reccur and be permanently in our body.
