Hi Doctor I have PCO , married 2 months ago , my doctor advised me to take cycloprogenova pills to get regular periods , but I dream of being pregnant day and night & he refused to give me Clomid Is cycloprogenova considered as a contraceptive method ? How can I get Pregnant fast ? Should I Stop these pills ? My FSH 6.6 LH 7.7

Hi,
PCOD is charactorised by ovulation failure &so the periods get irregular.Oral contraceptives suppress ovulation-they are given as a priliminary T/t in PCOD- Because after withdrawing the pills there is rebound stmulation of ovulation .
Please continue the T/t given by your Dr. You may get chance of conception, iIf this simple T/t succeeds, you wont need further advanced T/t- which can be taken up if needed afterwords.
