Sudden Stabbing Pain In The Chest For 2 Mins Followed By Mild Pain For 2 Days?

Woke up during the night and had a sip of coke and had a really bad chest pain and it felt like someone was stabbing me in the chest it lasted about 2 minutes, but it s about 2 days now and I can feel a pain in my chest whenever I try and do something, eg. Bend down, drive, turn my head .....

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion it must be muscle pull and pain is of muscular only. But as a rule, in any patient of chest pain we must rule out cardiac and pulmonary cause.
So I suggest to undergo chest x ray and ECG. If both these are normal, your pain must be muscular in origin.
Try to follow these things
1. Avoid weight lifting and activities causing pain.
2. Take good pain killer with muscle relaxant.
3. Apply hot water massage while bathing on affected area.
4. Wear chest belt for minimal mobilization of affected segment.
