Hi,
Worthwhile getting yourself investigated to look for the cause in the form of an sonography of abdomen along with basic blood and stool examination.
Need to rule out some intestinal pathology like giardia infection or others likesome intestinal tumors / cancer as you have weight loss and loss of appetite and you are sbove 50. These symptoms could be also be related to stress and sensitive intestine.
Hope this answers your query.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
