Stomach Ache, Several Bowl Movement, Mucus Mixed With Blood

Today about an hour after eating dinner I began having terrible, sharp stomach cramps . They were in the lower addominal area. I proceeded to have several bowl movements, each time getting less and less solid. The cramping subsides for about an hour and then resumes with more bowel movements. But nw the stool seems to be mucus mixed with blood. There is no rectal bleeding just blood in the toilet. Should I go to the ER?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, it appears to be the food poisoning, means the infection in the intestines, due to infected food.
It is advisable to to consult the E.R, for medical help. You may need to have the antispasmodics, and infusion of the fluids to correct the dehydration.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms infusion of 2 units, injections of cefotaxim, dicyclomine hydrochloride, and tablets of ofloxacin, ornidazole, ranitidine.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and and sea foods.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
