Stiff And Throbbing Neck, Difficulty Swallowing. Have Congested Sinus And Hayfever. Is This Related?

Hi, I regularly get a heavy feeling at the base of the back of my neck. This mostly happens while I have a cold. I started feeling this come on two days ago and woke up with a very stiff, throbbing neck, which was so bad in the night I even struggled to sleep and swallow. Not sure if it is related but Hayfever was very bad yesterday and last night, leaving my Sinuses very congested.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Yes you may be right because the sinusitis inflammatory process some time involves the surrounding tissues too particularly lower respiratory muscles so it is just likely that your problem may be related with the cold and congestion that you have, but this goes away with the proper treatment or even without the treatment and nothing to worry have nice day.
