Sternum And Jaw Pain After Eating Green Vegetables. Do I Have Any Deficiency?

Hi i have an ache that begins behind my sternum and radiates up my right side up to my jaw. It seems to start when I havent eaten broccoli and other vegetables for a few days. What I mean by that is, if I have casseroles, soup, all in one dishes with vegetables in them. I must have broccoli at least every three days to avert this pain. Are you able to shed any light on whether I have a deficiency?

Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic Public Forum

In some cases esophagus may become sensitive to certain food products. Due to that it develops spasm and pain in presence of these product. Esophagus spasm may cause pain over sternum and may radiate to nearby area like jaw. Acid reflux may also lead to to similar symptoms.

So, it is better to avoid these food items in his case for some duration. You can take some analgesics with antacids (Pentoprazole) for pain. Evaluation for acidity may also needed in his case.

I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
Wish you Good Health.

Regards,
