Stent Placed After Heart Attack. Dizziness, Numbness, Swelling In Feet While Having Plavix, Aspirin And Metformin
46 yr old female have had heart attack have heart stent was 98 and 99% blockages 1 stent though on Plavix 75mg aspirin 325mg metformin er 500mg and attenonal 50 mg havein bad dizziness and some numbness upper front right thigh swelling bad in feet and ankles bp 139/75 pulse 63 should I be worried just not feeling good
Indeed the symptoms are concerning, and the first thing that needs to be ruled out given your history of blocked arteries is that of heart (pump) failure, causing the dizziness, weakness and swelling of the legs. You should be seen back by your cardiologist, and on top of a physical examination, he may want to repeat the Echo or ultrasound of the heart to see where you stand.
Hope this helps, wish you the best,
