Sore On Inner Thigh, Scabbing, No Itching Or Burning. Medical Attention Required?
Hi I am wondering about a sore I have on my inner thigh. I noticed it yesterday evening when it was just red and sore no bump or blister the area just hurt when it rubbed along my clothes or skin but when I woke up this morning it was a scab. I have had no prior symptoms of anything no itching no burning and no other sores. Is this something i need to go in and have my doctor look at? What could it be?
This could be a result of an allergy ( due to contact with an unknown object) reason why it just went off on its own, could be as mild bacterial (staph) skin infection (cellulitis) which will require consultation for confirmation and appropriate treatment ( antiobiotics and antiinflammatory).
As per your presentation, I do not feel you will require any further consultation as situation seems to have resolved itself but it will be good if a doctor could take a look at it so you can know what it was and if possibility of recurrence in the near or far future (actually can not be predictate by the doctor).
Hope this helped
