ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

Thanks for consulting H.C.M.

I read your query regarding sore nose, slightly swollen and very tender to touch.

As you are having nagging cold for about last three weeks with running nose which stopped and now only congestion is there. All these favours that now you have developed Vestibulitis of nose. This is an infection of vestibule of nose but it has to be cared and manage thoroughly because there are fair chances of spreading infection to cavernous sinus of brain.

Vestibule of nose is a part of danger area of face therefore it needs thorough examination and relevent investigations by ENT specialist for treatment.

You are advice NOT TO TOUCH nose because this may spread the infection and try to consult ENT specialist for treatment.

Regards.
