Small Pinkish Spotting After Periods Upto Ovulation. Trans-abdo Scan Shows Normal Except Fluid Behind C-section Scar. Thoughts ?

Hello. Have had small amounts of pinkish spotting from two days after period and up to ovulation . Spotting stops at ovulation and does not resume until post- menstruation . Have had trans-abdo scan showing nothing abnormal except fluid behind c-section scar . Have been referred for further tests. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
As per your symptoms, you could be having some amount of breakthrough bleeding; nevertheless, local lesions should also be excluded. Please see a gynecologist and get a complete evaluation done along with a hormonal profile, blood counts and urinalysis. Any local lesions can be dealt with by simple measures while any hormonal defect can be corrected by replacement. Hope your query is answered. Take care.
