Should I Go To The ER After Experiencing Chest Pain?

I m having chest pain that radiates from under my collar bone to my shoulder. It s a dull tingly pain that has persisted for over an hour now and awoke me out of sleep. I m only 21 years old and I do have a history of anxiety but I ve never experienced this symptom before. Should I go to the ER?

Hello!
Thanks for your query.
Chest pain is the most common reason that people ages 15 and older visit the emergency room.
Causes of chest pain are some ,like:
heart related chest pain
lung related chest pain
gastrointestinal related chest pain
muscle/bone related chest pain
panic attack
You do not need to worry because your pain have no relation with heart (pain persisted for over one hour)
You should relax and take painkillers to relief your chest pain because this pain have more chance to be a panic attack or have relation with bone /muscle of chest.
Take care of your self
