Should I Be Concerned About The Pain In Head And Shoulder After A Fall?
I fell yesterday and hit the left side of my head above the ear and my shoulder. I put ice on it afterward and took advil. Today there is a knot above my ear and my head is sore to the touch and painful on the entire left side. It hurts when I talk or chew. I am slightly nauseated and feel a bit iritated. Should I just consider this to be a bruise?

Hi,
After fall on head left side of your skull must have got a strong hit that's why -
- it has a knot over left ear( haematoma to be excluded), head is sore & painful, The mandibular joint on left also i hurt so talking & chewing is painful.
- being nauseous & irritated needs some concern.
* Continue with ice pack/pain killer pill .Take rest & light diet.
* I would advice you to visit ER/Orthopedic doctor for expert advice & Investigations like X ray/CT scan-to diagnose gravity of injury & treat it accordingly.
