Should Child Be Given Advent Forte For Cough, Cold, Fever?

Hello Doctor, MY kid is 3.5 yr old and weighing 14.6 kgs, he has cough, cold and fever. Doctor has advised Advent Forte 457mg medicine with Calpol 250mg(5ml) and Ascoril+(3.5ml-0-3.5ml) Advent Forte 457mg - 6ml twice a day, is it okay to give, he is omiting after giving this medicine. Kindly advice. Thanks and Regards, Venkatesh.

That's a very strong dose.
I usually prescribe 3 to 4 ml only of that medicine for your kids weight.
Decrease the dose and see if that helps.
