Should A Hypochondriac Be Worried About Lump Formation In Hard Palate And Swollen Tonsils?

Hi. I m probably just being paranoid but I have a lump on my hard palate and I have had swollen tonsils for about a month now, I ve been to my dentist and doctors and neither can say what it is, I have been referred to a specialist at the hospital but I am a known hypochondriac, should I be worried?

Hello,
The swollen tonsils can be because of throat infection, there is no need to worry.
And for lump I think you should visit a good dentist as lump should be examined thoroughly with an x - ray, as it can be an infection of soft tissue or of bone, if needed then go for CT-scan as it will give a clear diagnosis of the lump.
So please do not take tension, just get it diagnosed first.
Hope it will help you.
