Hi,

Astringents are liquid based formulas, contain zinc sulphate, aluminum sulphate, glycerin and salicylic acid is used to remove excess oil and unclog pores, shrink appearance of pores, tighten skin, cleanse harmful substances from skin, decrease inflammation and acnes, provide anti bacterial benefits etc. Before using Astringent, wash your face properly and then dry it. Put a drop of Astringent onto a piece of cotton and apply it to the affected part of your face, especially on the oily areas of your face. After use, don't wash off Astringent with water. Follow up it with sunscreen which will prevent your skin from sun damage. Astringent is recommended to use once a day, either in the morning or evening. If you notice and experience redness, hotness or irritation on your face, then you should stop using this medication immediately and inform your dermatology first for medical attention. Don't start or stop using this medication without consulting your dermatologist first.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
