Should I Repeat Anti Rabies Injection After Dog Bite If Taken Earlier?
hello doctor, some two years ago i was bitten by my pet during playing and the very next day i start the anti rabies injection course in which i was given 3 injection, 1st on the next day of the bite, 2nd on the next week and the last one on the 18th day from the bitten day. Again, after 2 years after i was bitten by a stray dog and again i consulted a doctor and taken all the injection. Unfortunately, i am agin bitten 3rd time by a stray puppy, just like a pin point wound only on my skin, please tell me is their is any need to take anti rabies injection 3rd time also. there are certain criteria for rabies vaccine, first the dog must be female and infected with rabies and died do the infection and you have bitten by the same dog then it is very important to have vaccine, least concern whether you vaccinated or not if this is not history then just forget about this, Thank
