Should I Have An X-ray Done For Broken Triquetrium Bone?
I broke the triquetrium bone in my wrist almost 2 months ago. No treatment was required. It still hurts, pretty bad at times. Easy things like clipping my nails or cutting things with a knife really cause a feeling of bones rubbing together & cause intense pain. Should I have another X-ray? My Dr. Wasn't concerned when I saw him today for a follow up.
Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum. Of course it wont require any treatment, but rest is the main thing to any orthopedic problem. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an M.R.I. for diagnosis. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days. ofloxacin, and mefenamic acid. Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods till the pain is relieved. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.thank you.
