Should I Be Worried About Red Blood Cells In Urine?

Hi, After I finished using complete dosage of ampiclox I noticed blood on the toilet seat, I saw my doc who ordered a urine test and confirmed some red blood cells in my urine. The test was repeated after 2 weeks which still confirmed same. Av been asked to see a urologist. Is there anything to worry about?

Urologist 's  Response
Hi
It is routine for patients who have had blood in urine to be referred to an urologist for further tests which include ultrasound of urinarty tract, urine and blood tests and a cystoscopy. In most patients we do not find anything but the commonest identifiable cause will be urinary tract infection.
Hence await the urologist appointment.
