Should I Be Concerned For The Crackles In The Chest And Coughing Mucus?
Hi, i have recently had bronchitis and have finished my 7 day course of amoxicyllin today... my chest still crackles when i breathe deeply and i am coughing more mucus up but it is still difficult... when i have coughed some up it is clear... is there still a reason to be concerned and go back to the doctor? or should i wait a few days? could it be just leftover mucus causing the crackling? thanks, gemma
Hi Thanks for your query. I think you need to take inhalers with proper dosing of bronchodialators and before that going for a spirometric evaluation to know the severity of bronchitis. Consult your pulmonologist soon and get yourself thoroughly examined. Thank you Regards Dr Arnab Maji
