how concerned should I be about seeing flashes of light around the outer edges of my eyes and floaters for the last two days/nights. I have been up late a lot and have had some eye strain within the last few weeks. Lots of stress around Christmas time, too.

Floaters are degenarative particle in vetrious. Since flashes of light in outer edges, fundusscopy preferabily indirect ophthalmoscopy should be done to rule out detachment. Manage to control stress.With these investigation we can reach to diagnose the ailment.
