Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

The shooting pain that you are describing sounds like neuralgia or nerve related pain.

None of the medications that you are currently using are associated with causing neuralgia ,amitryptiline and zoloft are used to treat neuralgia.

There are different causes of neuralgia such as : complication of diabetes,
(2) secondary to shingles
(3)related to vitamin deficiency
(4) trauma
(5)alcohol use
(6)autoimmune diseases
(7)kidney or liver disease

You should consider visiting your doctor for an evaluation so that he or she could determine the likely cause.
This would involve blood tests to rule out any of the conditions mentioned.

I hope this helps
