Sharp Pain In Chest, Sweating, Tiredness, High Pulse Rate, Anxiety. Cause Of Worry?

I am 48 have been having moderate, sharp pain in the center of my chest for about 3 days. I am sweaty and overly tired. My pulse is a little high, but I do have anxiety , my pulse is 115. My bp is normal to a bit high. I m worried about going to the er for nothing, because I do not have health insurance. But concerned because the pain in my chest doesn t seem to go away.

Your case history is inadequate as you have not mentioned your other co-morbid conditions, your habits, your current medications if any. Currently as per your case history i will ask you to get a baseline ECG and an echocardiogram done for your heart to rule out any obvious cardiac ailments. You did mention your blood pressure recordings are normal to bit high so i assume your blood pressure recording is around 130-140/80-90 mm of Hg . I also would like to check your thyroid and blood sugar level in your blood, as thyroid dysfuntion and diabetes are co -morbid conditon that slowly kills your heart. Also apart fromy our anxiety do you occasionally feel breathlesness with palpitations. Please do get yourself evaluated by a physician so that he/ she can clinically come to a significant conclusion.
