Hi,thank you for posting a query in Health Care Magic.
Looking at your symptoms, you are likely suffering from Seasonal allergic inflammation of the upper
respiratory tract.Allergens that are most commonly involved include pollens from trees, grasses, and weeds, as well as spores from fungi.
Reduce the exposure to allergens. You should close the windows of the car and home, stay indoors when possible, and use air conditioners to filter the air during times of peak symptoms. Use of a high quality mask may be helpful when travelling or working outside. Showering before bed removes allergens from hair and skin and can help reduce contamination of the bedding.
You might find relief by taking Antihistaminic(like Levocetrizine),Tablet
Montelukast,Oral and Nasal Decongestants,
Steroid nasal spray(like
Mometasone),Saline Nasal spray,Cough expectorant(containing Ambroxol/
Guaifenesin) and Bronchodilators.
Avoid Cold, oily and very sweet food as they increase mucus production.Do steam inhalation.Avoid dust and other pollutants.Drink lots of fluid(warm).Hot tea with ginger, lemon and honey also gives relief in your symptoms.
Consultation with an Otolaryngologist doctor,Allergic Skin test and Chest Xray may be useful if your symptoms are not well contolled with the above measures.
Hope this answers your question.Take care.
