Severe Hip Pain Following A Cervical Opening For Abortion. Advised Follow Up Scans. How To Treat This?

I had a missed miscarriage on nov 7th(10th week). so had abortion by medication on nov 8th. After 10 days, ie nov 18th repeated the scan and medication once again due to particles in uterus.

On 21st nov, again i have taken vaginal scan .still little particles there so doctor has opened my mouth of the cervix without any anaesthesia or pain killer pills. Thete is no words to explain that pain.

I have a severe back hip pain on right side. Doctor asked to repeat the scan after 10 days. what should i do? Hip is paining.

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. Your pain is associated with the procedure as there is no anethetic given. But keep in mind that if there are any remnants inside your uterus it will also cause pain and bleeding. So for now you can take meftalspas tablet to get relief from that pain and you will come to know the reason after scan and dont worry as mostly pain will subside by itself. Thank you.
