Severe Hair Fall, Increased Facial Hair. Tried Shampoos, Olive Oil. Due To Changing Work Shifts?
HI Iam 23 yr old girl and i am suffering from extensive Hair fall. ive tried many shampoos even along with that i use to massage with olive oil but that also not effected. Please suggest something which should be cheap and best way to cure it. Also advice that my facial hair are increasing. is it because of that i use to workout or my working shift usually changes now. please advice.
Hello.
Increase in facial hair along with scalp hair fall usually indicate towards a hormonal imbalance. If you have other symptoms like weight gain and menstrual irregularities as well, it is more likely to be polycystic ovarian syndrome which is quite common in young females.
I would advise you to consult a experienced doctor for evaluation. Hormonal tests and ultrasound may be advised to confirm the diagnosis. It is a treatable condition, so do not worry.
Oil massage and shampoos are unlikely to help till the root cause is treated. Once your hormonal profile is normal, you can start therapy to regain some of your lost hair.
