Severe Big Painful Pimples, Prescribed Doxy, Tretinion, Not Much Relief. Alternate Suggestions ?
hello doc, i visited dermatologist 13 months ago because of severe pimples which are very big in size and painfull. my doc had prescribed me doxy in the morning for one month and femcinole ointment in day on both the checks and tretinion cream on right check and glyaha hq lotion on the other. in one month i had a good relief. now also the same problem had repeated so started doxy and ointments since 5 days .lart time wen i used it had shown an immediate relief but now i couldnt find any improvement. can u suggeste me what to do

HI,PLEASE USE DOXYCYLINE FOR A LONGER PERIOD THAT IS FOR ATLEAST 10-14 DAYS TO GET RESPONSE.IF U DID NOT FIND ANY RESPONSE START USING AZITHROMYCIN

based on your history continue doxycycline... its complete course of one month you can not judge on basis of five days.. topical application also takes about two weeks for initiation of its effect.. continue above madication..
if after one month of taking 100 mg doxycycline there is no improvement then you can make dose twice a day of 100mg doxycycline or you can try erythromycine..
take oral form of isotretinoine ..besides medicine wash your face 3 times per days, stop junk and oily food, avoid spicy food.. avoid pollution ..
if you are in teen age then cause can be hormonal and acne will go away with age.
