my age 29. 7 years married having no children.semen report as follows.qty 2.5 ml. colour greayish white. apearance opaque. viscocity normal. blood nil. time of liquifiction 40 mim. reaction alkaline. ph 7.5. spermatazoa count 28 million/ml. actively motile 40%. sluggishly motile 10%. non motile 50%. pus cells 2-3 / hpf. epithelial cells 1 -2 /hpf. rbc 1-2 / hpf. normal 50% abnormal 50%.... is my report is good and can i be a father?
hello thank for your query based on the acts and report of your semen analysis that you have posted it appears that your semen analysis report is within normal range as per WHO standards except presence of 2-3 pus cells which indicates infection either in seminal vesicle or prostate.
Please take antibiotics like combination of trimethoprim and sulphamethoxazole tice daily for one month and repeat semen analysis .
There is no reason why you should not father a child provided there is no issue with your wife as regards ovulation . Dr.Patil.
