Scared, Nervous After Replacing Zoloft With Lexepro. On Clonazepam. Due For Starting Tamoxifen Since Cancer Surgery, Medication For High Cholesterol. Advice
My doctor had me cold turkey off zoloft after 20 years on it and replaced it with Lexepro. He said 10mg but the drug store filled it for 20mg. I have since quarted it. I felt and still do feell like scared, nervous, afraid, I have never felt worse. I also was to continue with clonazepam. I am also supposed to start Tamoxifen since my cancer surgrey and medicine for high cholestrol. I don't know who to talk to. My GP didn't seem to know what to mix.
It is true that it might be scaring or bothersome when taking many drugs or after surgery, however there is good news. Today, most patients who take their drugs regularly do lead and live very normal and uneventful lives.
In your case, since you already got the drugs available, I would suggest you just be very compliant to your treatment. Secondly, being positive, not being so worried is of help. Doing exercise, being with loved ones, eating a vegetable rich and fruit rich diet could be very useful.
Thanks and hope this helps as I wish you the best of health.
