Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 18 year old daughter is not digesting her food. Within 15 minutes she has to run to the bathroom. Food is not digested when it comes out. She avoids all dairy and wheat. She has had two bouts of food poisioning in the last year and has seen a naturopath who says she has parasites. The doctor finds no parasites in her stool. She isn t losing weight and does not have lack of energy. She had a bowel intusseuption found when she was hospitalized with a weird virus, which came a few months after her first bout of food poisioning. The doctors just want to call everything Irritable bowel , but I am not okay with that answer.
