In terms of possible side effects: rash, allergic reaction, low blood pressure, palpitaitons, nausea, vomiting, fatigue and headache. It rarely has any effect on the liver or kidney. When used with alcohol,there may be an additive effect to blood pressure lowering, the blood pressure may drop further. If you use the pill intermittently then it may not work as effectively to relieve your symptoms. I hope this helps
