Pregnant, Thigh Pain When Sitting, Walking, Lower Back Pain, Recent Cervical Measurement 2.41. Previous Miscarriages. Advise?

39 year old, 5'3", 168 lbs, lost first baby at 23 wks - cervical incompetence in Nov 2010, healthy second child with cerclage delivered at 36 wks 6 days March 2012, miscarriage Oct 2012, currently 19 wks 6 days with dull pain in upper inner thigh which started at 5 pm yesterday and has not subsided with rest - feel mostly when I sit and walk; have had some lower back pain since Saturday after household chores; cervical measurement two weeks ago was 2.41 but no cerclage yet due to lack if insurance; might be covered with new job this month

Hi there ~

I understand your concern. With a history of having delivered a baby with cerclage I believe that there are chances that you can become pregnant. It is better to get a cerclage done for this pregnancy as well. I am sure you can find resources to get this as soon as possible to retain this pregnancy as well since you have a positive history of cervical incompetence. I hope this helps.
