hi

sometimes the complication do occur in the pregnancy like having dead fetus and certain other complications but it do not means you have will be unable to conceive. one you have conceived, it means you are perfectly fertile woman and can conceive as many times as much you want but wait for at least two month after the abortion so that the endometrium returns to its normal state and then you can go for conception

Thanks

Pathologist and Microbiologist Dr. Shailja Puri's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM
You have had two abortins in the past.
Most of the fetus which have genetic abnormalities not compatible with life are normally aborted in the the initial stages of pregnancy. This is nature's way to remove abnormal fetuses.
Besides genetic abnormalities there are various causes of abortion during pregnancy. To name a few:
Hormonal disturbances in women
Infections
Maternal age
Maternal trauma
improper implantation of the zygote in the uterine cavity
Life style: smoking, drug abuse, malnutrition

You should try for next conception. See if you have any of above mentioned problems and try to rectify in case you have one. Do monitor your ovulation time by various methods like basal body temperature, cervical mucus examination etc. This will improve chances of conception.
Once conception takes place, monitor your pregnancy by regular ultrasounds.
Since, you have a history of two abortions in the past, chances are high in subsequent pregnancy.

During the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, you should be very careful and take proper rest.
If any problem arises in next pregnancy, you should visit your gynaecologist and get relevant investigations done.

Thanks and take care
