Pregnant, Have Small Dots On Lower Part Of Stomach. What Could These Be?

I am 37 weeks pregnant. On the lower part of my stomach I noticed 4 small black dots. 3 on my stomach and one a little lower. I don t know how long I had them there because I can t see that area myself because of my growing baby. My husband noticed it two days ago. Should i be concerned or is this just one of those pregnancy symptoms? What exactly are these dots?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The dots you are having on your abdomen are commonly found during pregnancy due to the pregnancy pigmentation. These are benign spots which gradually decrease after completion of the pregnancy. Using a mild moisturizer will be helpful.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
