Pregnant. Prescribed Duvadilan, Duphaston For Tightening Lower Abdomen And Back Pain With Cefalexin For Infection. Safe?

Hi I'm from the philippines. I am 28 weeks pregnant and was prescribed to take duvadilan,duphaston 3x a day due to tightening of my lower abdomen and lower back pain. I am also 1cm dilated- I am 42 years old with 3 children. My last pregnancy was 18 years ago. All normal delivery and full term. I was given also cefalexin because my doctor suspected me to have infection. But I stopped taking it because I am scared that it might have side effects for my baby. My question is - is it safe to take duphaston and duvadilan until my 8-1/2months? Is it also safe to take cefalexin? Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks and god bless-shiela my email is YYYY@YYYY

Hi,
From your history it seems that there arte all chances of having premature delivery.
By keeping this problem your Obst has prescribed these medicines to prevent premature delivery.
You have to continue all medicines including antibiotic, prescribed by your doctor.
Take complete bed rest.
Remain in follow up with your Obst.
