Pregnant. Pinkish, Reddish Discharge. Normal Or Does It Require Immediate Medical Attention?
im on my 5th month of pregnancy.i had a pinkish to reddish discharge .it started last night when I went to the bathroom and poop. I thought maybe because I m constipated & I put some pressure.it stop, then it had a pinkish discharge n the middle of the night. now when i went to the bathroom, and wipe it theres a light reddish discharge is this normal? or should i go to the doctor now?
Some amount of spotting can be seen in early pregnancy because of causes like:
-Some women may have bleeding on expected day of periods even in pregnancy.
-Increased blood supply to local organs can cause spotting even on mild friction, as you strain because of constipation that may affect tiny blood vessels in the genital tract leading to pinkish discharge and spotting.
-Recent travel or intercourse etc can lead to some spotting.
so if you are not symptoms like pain abdomen etc no need to bother but if your spotting increases or pain arises consult your doctor immediately.
Take care.
