Hi,
The sonography report shows a normal fetal growth except for baby weight is slightly on lesser side.
It seems, you have started 9th month about a week back. Usually expected date of delivary is calculated. but sometimes it can take place any time after 9th month starts It depends on menstrual habit of mother.
The uterine pains/contractions as well as vaginal discharge increase in 9th month as the baby descends down in pelvis. These contractions are mild.
From onset of labor the contractions & discharge go on increasing in it's severity & frequency. If you find it so, please get yourself checked internally.
The normal delivary depends on -good labor pains, sufficient pelvis, position & size of baby, opening of mouth of uterus, mother's health & so on. The predicting type of labor therefore needs direct assessment of the patient. Mostly it can be guessed as 9th month starts.
A fetus with vertex presentation with an average baby weight, healthy mother, sufficient pelvis & good labor pains, the chances of normal delivery are bright.
Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

The ultrasound scan parameters of your baby are normal and the position favors a normal vaginal delivery. Your expected delivery is in the next few weeks.

However, the most important thing at the moment is to get yourself examined for fever and watery discharge (?vagina). This can affect your baby and you must consult your doctor immediately.

Delaying treatment by even a few hours can harm both the baby and you.

Hope this helps
