Pregnant. Lightheaded, Shortness Of Breath, Heatwaves, Constipation, Hardness In Stomach And Severe Cramps. Prescribed Duphoston And CBC. Reason?
Hi I am 32 weeks pregnant (first baby) I am fitness trainer, and i am still very active. I workout regularly and I also instruct BootCamp sessions. I had some severe braxon hicks but so far so good no complications. Latetly for the past week ive been light headed, and ive been experiencing shortness of breath and heat waves and constipation. My belly has been pretty hard and the cramps are almost non-stop.
My doctor prescribed duphoston twice a day and asked me to do CBC; full blood picture. (i had iron deficiency, my hemoglobin isnt in normal range yet but its better)
Any ideas as to why I might be experiencing this and the reason to give me a progesterone supplement?

Hell dear you are in last trimester of pregnancy,,,very active ,,had anemia now lets discuss your issues,,,,light headed ,shortness of breath,heat waves the are either becuse of anemia or indrease
Evel of thyroid hormones,,firstly do your cbc if low levels of iron you ideally should have injectable iron,,,,secondly asyour pregnency advances the fetus but pressure n abdomen and thorax this might be the reason,,,,your constipation this is partlly bcz of hormonal change and partly because of diet so improve your diet,,lastly your contractions ,,duphoston prevent these cntractions and are given to patients to carry their pregnancy to term,,i hope my answer helps you ,you can ask me queries directly
