Pregnant. Have Headaches, Abdominal Pain, Nausea, Vomiting. Worry?

I am 26 weeks pregnant. For the past week i've been having bad headaches. 2 days ago, there was sharp pain on the lower right side of my stomach. The pain lasted a good 40 minutes, sometimes increasing in pain intensity. It disappeared as suddenly as it came. I've also experienced nausea & vomitted a few times. Should I be worried?

Hi,
Your symptoms could mean a gastric disturbance leading to uterine irritability or an early sign of PIH. You should consult your obstetrician and get a proper assessment of the state. You may need a urinalysis, a uterine tocolytic and regular monitoring of the blood pressure. Reduce salt intake, add more fruits and vegetables to your diet and see that you take sterile easily digestible food in small quantities at frequent intervals. take sufficient rest, 2 hours in the day and 8 hours in the night preferably in the left lateral position. Hope your query is answered. Good luck.
