Then Dr. Prescribe Ebexid daily 1 tablet in to morning. we have taken it 6 days and then we visit to another Dr. and She asked to stop the tablet. I just want to know how safe Ebexid is? Hi Shant,
Welcome back to Healthcare Magic Physician's Desk!
It is important to know that due to physiological changes during pregnancy women gain about 11kg of weight most of which is shed after delivery.
Pregnancy is not right time to concentrate on weight control and Ebexid can hardly prevent weight control.
It is a health supplement and is developed with an idea to reduce weight but there is no evidence to support this. It should be avoided during pregnancy.
Wish you a great health!

Nephrologist Dr. Aditya Bhabhe's  Response
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Ebexid contains thyroxine supplements. It is indicated if there is hypothyroidism.
If prescribed for hypothyroidism, it is safe in pregnency.
You need to consult an endocrinologist and review all the results with him.
Good luck.
