Pneumonia, repeated fever, cough, rhinitis, giving klacid
I AM A MOTHER OF 1YR AND 2MONTH OLD CHILD.HE HAD COUGH ,SOB , RHINITIS AND FEVER15DAYS BACK AND RECEIVED SYP. AUGMENTIN FOR 7 DAYS .BUT,THERE WAS NO IMPROVEMENT WITH THIS ONE AND ENDS UP IN PNEUMONIA .AND AFTER THAT HE ADMITTED AND RECEIVED IV ANTIBIOTICS(INJ.KLACID) FOR 2 DAYS AND CONTINUED SYP.KLACID FOR 5 DAYS.HE WAS OK FOR LAST 2 DAYS BUT TODAY AGAIN STARTED WITH RHINITIS, MILD FEVER AND COUGH.REALLY I DONT KNOW, WHAT TO DO NOW??I AM TOO MUCH WORRIED AND FED UP BY GIVING MEDICINES TO MY SMALL CHILD.PLEASE ADVICE...........

What is the respiratory rate of the child?
Is he breathing fast?
Further investigations are required to arrive at the exact cause for this. Was a chest X ray done? If so what is the report?
