Hi doctors! I am a girl 14 going 15 years old who weigh 55kg and about 1 meter and 56cm and I want to lose 10 kilos in a healthy way without having any problems. I did a diet for 2 weeks with a diet company where I was eating 1 300 calories a day and I did lost some weigh. But I want to lose more. I stopped the diet with them but continued the same way they were sending me food everyday. But I want to see more results. I want a diet plan that I can follow with no problems and have quick result. I do work out but not that much because I don t find time to( I always swim for 1 hour every Saturday but I don t think that ls enough). Waiting for your response, thank you!

Since your height is 156 cms the ideal weight in your height is 49-61 kgs so i think the previous weight of 55 was well with in normal limits.If you have lost a few kilos then it is fine but if you lose 10 kilos then it will be 45 which will be under weight and can precipitate diseases and generalized weakness( nobody advised about this).If it is just fat you want to lose then it can be done with exercise like swimming ;jogging;skipping also severe dieting is not required in your case.Lastly the most important thing is you are not going to be on strict diet lifelong so whenever you stop dieting you will put on weight more than what you have.I would advise you keeping your age of 14 yrs in mind please don't do severe dieting as now is the time of development of your body which may be affected due to weakness if it come on with severe dieting.Take care;consult a doctor if required;think logical before you act.

Dear doctor .i m jeena .my age is 24.height is 5.6 and weight is 60kgs.i want to lose 4 to 5 kgs of my weight before marraige.i am following a diet plan which is as follows, breakfast= one bran slice + chiken shami kabab+200ml skim milk OR One boiled egg+skim milk 200 ml snack = 7 to 9 almonds Lunch= 1 apple + 1 guava+half small melon or if melon is big then one fouth of it.some times i replace melon with watermelon +i cup of green tea without sugar. sleep for one hour evening = 1 cup of tea using 1 tbsp of everyday dry milk and artificial sweetner like SUCRAL. Dinner= 200 gms of chiken boiled spicy + 1 cucumbar+1 tomato OR 1 cup of any lentil (daal) without tarka oil ghee etc + small half chapati +veg salad same as above. I also using multi vitamin tablet(route to health) for hair nail and skin two times in a day with breakfast and dinner.and thats it i want to follow this plan for 1 month to lose 4 to 5 kgs.plz do tell me is this diet plan healthy??? can it affect my hair and lead to hair loss?? should i add something or remove something from this diet plan??i m waiting your answer deadlyyy.take

Hi I am 26 years old female from Kerala. My height is 149 cm and weigh 123.5 pound (56 kg). I am working in software field and do not get much of exercise except for 10 minutes walking on a daily basis in the morning on my way to office. Its not jogging or any special effort taken in for the exercise option, but rather a routine. I have put on 4-5 kg in the last one year and now am concerned about this pattern and need a detailed advice on the diet plans that might suit me. Hi , im 16 sorta morbidly obese....kay yea im morbidly obese but im somewat tall lik not 6 foot but im lik 180 cm anyway im wondering wat are some things i can do to prevent getting diabetes , i enjoy water fasting and i heard it helps as well as make you lose weight . is there anything else other than excercising and eating right and water fasting that i can do . im not saying lik i dont wanna exercise and eat right im saying what more can i do? thanks
for the past few days everytime i get hungry i feel pain in my tummy that goes away when i eat. i am 45 yrs old, 5 ft and weighs around 125-130 lbs and trying to lose weight so as much as possible i am limiting my food intake but if i feel pain i have no recourse but to eat. thanks for your help
im hiv positive and im already on arv's(atripla), bt im bit overweight and i want to lose weight .....i went to see my doctor and he gave me duromine 15mg. the problem is that im a bit sceptical about taking both pills coz i dont know if its safe....he did assure me that they safe bt i just want a second opinion.
I had a subcolectomy about a year and a half ago. I've gained about 30 lbs. No one seems to have an answer. I tried weight loss plans, exercising (including zumba). I am hungry all the time and have up to 6 BMs a day, Now I've tried taking a diet pill. I losted about 8 lbs but couldn't continue with the pill becauise of heart palpitations. When I eat healthy foods, which are all high in fiber, they go straight through me. Still no weight loss.
