Pimple On Nose, Getting Yellow Discharge. Now Its Painful. What Could Be This?
I have what i think is a pimple at the tip of my nose pretty much near the cartilage at the inside tip.. There is a small lump under the skin and a fair amount of rendess, white head that has been popped numerous times with yellow discharge in tiny amounts, It s been there for a week now and is becoming painful and no sign of going away..I have been washing it with- Antibacterial Skin Wash .What can be done about it.

It seems like a furuncle.
Application of antibacterial cream like mupirocin or fusidic acid twice in a day should help. Do not squeeze the lesion as it may lead to more inflammation and may also spread deep leading to a serious infection known as cavernous sinus thrombosis as the lesion is present in dangerous area of face. If the lesion is tender, take an antiinflammatory like ibuprofen or paracetamol. If the lesion doesn't subside in few days time, consult a doctor to get a prescription of oral antibiotics.
