Periods Delayed, Having Cramps And Yellow Discharge. Breastfeeding. Had Protected Sex. Pregnancy Chances?

Hi, my menses are almost 2w late. i m still breastfeeding my 6m old and this is supposed to be the 4th cycle after giving birth. the previous cycles were pretty on time. my husband has been ejaculating outside me. i m having slight cramp & a bit of yellowish discharge . could i be preg? or breastfeeding has messed my cycle up?

Thanks for using the HCM. I am happy to address your questions, the period in which lactation suppresses your menstruation and fertility is called lactational amenorrhea. There is no normal (menstruation during breastfeeding, it can be very unpredictable). A mom may have irregular periods while breastfeeding and may skip some months… a missed period while breastfeeding is normal. Moms may have premenstrual symptoms like abdominal pain or some discharge without any bleeding…this can be a sign that your period will be returning soon…it's best to start taking precautions if you don’t want to fall pregnant. .
