I just had a baby about 8 months ago. My period came back like two months after I had my baby, my period went away but I have been having irregular bleeding ever since ( spotting, from red to light red to dark brown ), I also have clots, and for the last few months I have been having abdominal pain. I went to my doctor and she said that it was because of my Depo shot and and soon as I got the second shot this spotting should go away ( well it didn't ). I also had the Essure procedure done three months after I had my baby. There are times that when I go pee, my urine is mixed with blood and I may not be spotting in that instant. It has gotten to the point that if I feel abdonimal pain I know that I'm either spotting or about to spot. Also, the spotting happens more at night time.
