Hi doctor I am having bloody stools since one week. I suffered this last year also. I was hospitalized last year due to bulky stools with mucus and blood. After a year from last week I am noticing same symptoms . At that time doctor said that there was some intestinal infection and IBS. What should I do?

Hi,
Chronic GI infection might cause this problem.
But at the same time bleeding internal piles should be ruled out.
Go for stool test for infection and occult or fresh blood.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
After report go for appropriate medicine course accordingly.
Avoid constipation.
Take plenty of water.
Ok and take care.
