This connection always can be narrower than other parts of intestine and be the reason of impeded bowels movements. So you have two reasons to suffer from partial intestines obstruction. With this condition symptoms may come and go. Usually it appears with bloating, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Lac of gases is also characteristic. After such episode, diarrhea appears. I suggest you to visit gastroenterologist, have physical examination and have some tests. Abdominal CT with oral contrast (enteroclysis) is the test able to show either there is any blockage or not.
