Painful Sex. Had Cervical Ectopy. Why?
Hi, I was told by the sexual health nurse that I had cervical ectopy and wondered if this could be the cause of pain during sex? I've always felt pain during sex, but it used to be an outside pain just at the beginning but the last couple of times I've felt pain not only at the beginning but during, and it was more of an inside pain

I understand your concern. You may be having cervical ectopy, and if it is confirmed by a gynecologist, it most probably is the reason for your pain during sexual activity. However I also believe that there might be other reasons why you are having pain during sexual activity. I hope you visit with a gynecologist to find out if there are solution to the cervical ectopy and if you can get suggestions on how to make your sexual life better. I hope this helps.
