Painful, Protruding Knot In Rib Cage. Ultrasound And X-ray Found Nothing Abnormal. What Could This Be?

I have a protruding knot on my lower left rib cage. At times, it becomes pretty sore to touch especially if I have exercised. I have had a chest and back x ray and a multi organ ultra sound done and they have found nothing wrong. But I m still concerned since it has not gone away and is still irritating.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
The chances of pedunculated lipoma is just likely, and it goes on increasing in size and that is annoying only for that purpose it need to be excised but I would advise you to have words with surgeon for final confirmation because such lesion always need to be examined clinically have nice day.
